1. Who We Are
DoksOps is operated by Yevgen Reus, based in Estonia. We provide automated cloud infrastructure documentation, diagrams, and compliance reporting services.
Contact: yevgen@doksops.com
2. Data We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide our services:
- Email address — when you request early access or contact us
- Usage data — anonymized page views, browser type, and referral source
- Infrastructure metadata — cloud resource metadata you explicitly share when using our scanning tools (never stored beyond the session unless you opt in)
3. How We Use Your Data
- To process your early access request and communicate product updates
- To generate documentation, diagrams, and reports you request
- To improve our product and understand usage patterns
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Legal Basis (GDPR)
We process personal data under the following legal bases:
- Consent — when you submit your email for early access
- Legitimate interest — anonymized analytics to improve our service
- Contractual necessity — to provide the services you request
5. Cookies & Tracking
Our marketing site uses no cookies. We may use privacy-friendly analytics that do not track individuals across sites. If we introduce cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent.
6. Third-Party Services
We may use the following third-party services:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — infrastructure hosting and data processing
- Google Fonts — web font delivery (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)
- Tailwind CSS CDN — stylesheet delivery
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Data Retention
We retain your email address until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely. Infrastructure metadata provided during scans is processed in real-time and not stored beyond the active session unless you explicitly opt in to saving reports.
8. Data Security
We protect your data using industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. As a cloud documentation company, we take infrastructure security seriously.
9. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at yevgen@doksops.com. We will respond within 30 days.
10. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in the European Union and the United States (AWS regions). Where data is transferred outside the EU, we rely on AWS's compliance with appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
